garn re-imagines Eliza Doolittle from Pygmalion and places her in the twenty-first century, cutting across landscapes from Liverpool to London. The book positions her through a series of sites and cultural signposts, from social housing to news stories, psychedelia to the post punk era, capturing life through the lens and locale of working class women.
