A god was there, it left<br \/>\nits terrors propped in a stack.<br \/>\nIts silence sits at the table though it isn\u2019t hungry,<br \/>\nsmiles at the sacrament, listens to everything we say,<br \/>\nrepeating it, though out of sync &#8211; there\u2019s a slight delay<br \/>\nat all times, a deliquescent blurring effect,<br \/>\nlike beauty, worth troubling the mortars for,<br \/>\nworth lying down in the ziggurat of the explosion<br \/>\nfor.
